July!

Brendon has hit his "terrible two" stage. BIG TIME! He has already become a Mr. Bossy Pants. Here is proof. He was screaming to make everyone stop saying yea! (we were watching the baseball game)

We have had a busy July so far. We went to a party for the fourth of July in downtown Mesa. We saw a lot of cool classic cars, cool firetrucks, and tanks. Brendon's favorite part was a firefighter giving him a cool hat!

On the fourth of July, we went to the zoo even though it was raining. We love the zoo! We were soaked afterwards, but it was worth it. Love Brendon's cheesy smile! :)

After the zoo we went over to Uncle Matt and Aunt Kristin's neighbors house for fireworks. At the beginning he did mind it too much. He just watched quietly with eyes wide open. Things got a little chaotic with some irresponsible kids and too many fireworks were happening at once and then there were some loud ones. Well lets just say that there was a lot of crying after that.

Mike is starting to look for another job so that I can be a stay at home mom in about a year or so. I will still continue to work to help pay off school loans and put money to savings. I have never been a religious person, but more then ever I feel peace that Mike will find the job that he is suppose to have when we are suppose to get it. So far he has taken amazing care of us. We have been so blessed to have the family that we have, a roof over our head, food in our stomachs, a car to drive, and of course our health. I am truly grateful for our wonderful life that we have. Trials and all.

15 Month Update

Brendon will be 15 months on the 20th. He has started to mimic what everyone does. It is pretty cute. He likes to "cough" while covering his mouth, scream when other people scream, LOVES playing with pillows on the floor and loves to swim. Brendon also loves to help me sweep, mop, dust, and put clothes in the dyer. Brendon loves anything chicken and his favorite fruit are peaches and pears.

Brendon loves talking on the phone with Grandma and Grandpa Wilde. Brendon is now in Day Care once a week and he loves it! He loves playing with other kids and doing all of the crafts.

We had to part with the Jeep. It was a a bitter sweet moment. That jeep will always have a place in my heart, after all that is where my little boy was born. But with our new car its nice not having to worry about breaking down while I have Brendon in the car plus, the better gas mileage is so much better!

1!

Brendon turned one! We went to the zoo the weekend before, even though it rained the whole time it was so much fun. We did cake and presents the night of his birthday, he loved opening his presents and having all of the attention. He really loved his cake! However he was not too sure about singing lol

Last week Bren had hives. That poor kid, his whole body was covered and his face was so swollen. His doctor said that it is a good chance its his antibiotic that he is allergic to. He was still is happy self, he was such a big boy! He is walking so well! He is walking more then crawling now- its so weird to see him walk instead of crawl. He is becoming a master at the tantrums, makes me nervous for what is up ahead. If he is anything like me I am VERY nervous. Overall he is such a good boy. He is starting to get over his stranger danger. He now will wave and smile at them but that is pretty much all he will do. Progress is progress. Brendon LOVES giving kisses. Sometimes he will get too excited and bite my cheek. Those kisses are the best kisses ever and they melt my heart every time.

I could not be happier with my little family! :)

11 Month Update

I know I have not been updating lately. I have no internet at my home and have to wait until we go over to my Mom's. Brendon is 11 months, he will be 1 on the 20th. I can't believe how fast time has flown by. He has such a personality already. He has Mike and I's stubbornness. He is way too smart for his own good already. He loves to dance to any type of music and he has learned to clap his hands. Bren loves to analyze everything. He tries to figure out how his toy works, whatever he has in his hands including food, he stares and stares at it, and I can just see the wheels spin in his head. He can walk, however he doesn't like to. For some reason he is deathly afraid of falling. I have to admit that I miss those days of him being so small, cuddly and not moving. Haha, rather then just laying him down while I go to the bathroom, and go in peace. Now I have to listen to him scream bloody murder while I pee as quickly as I can. Ahhh those were the days. Don't get me wrong, I love all of the fun new things he is doing. He can eat as much as I can! He loves anything that he can eat.

Work is going good for both of us. I am changing positions at my current job so I have had all week last week off and all week this week off. Its been great spending all of this time with Brendon.

Brendon's new favorite toy.

10 month update

Well we finally moved into the house! So far it has been wonderful! Brendon has adjusted really quickly to having his own room. He is finally sleeping through the night! Yea!! With him sleeping so much he is a much happier, giggly little boy and I am loving every minute of it! Brendon loves exploring all of the new drawers and cabinets. He has learned to open and close doors. At times he will get mad if we do not let him do it. This also includes trying to close the car door on mommy and make her bonk her head. He thinks that is pretty funny when that happens. Brendon sure loves music! Almost anything that makes music makes him smile and giggle. He LOVES listening to Uncle Tysen play his guitar. He could listen forever to him if he had the attention span for it. He also gets all excited when people at church start to sing, and when Mommy and Daddy turn on the radio in the car. Brendon is also loving solid foods. He loves to eat turkey, cheese, waffles, pancakes, eggs, soup, noodles, gold fish and some other things that I cant think of.
Another thing that Brendon gets a kick out of is The Dick Van Dyke show theme song.

Moving Time!

On the 21st we are moving! I could not be more excited to have a home of my own. Well, not really my own- another persons home that we are renting. Either way it will be home. No more living in one bedroom! Which means, I get to actually fold laundry without having Mike to be there to chase after Bren. Going to bed without being afraid of waking Bren up. Use all of our stuff that has been in a garage for over a year (which by the way has ALOT of dust). Parking in a garage instead of the side of the road worrying if those pesky kids are going to throw rocks at our car. Again. And more importantly, feeling like a family. We have lived with my parents before Brendon was born! Which was a blessing for sure. Other wise I am not sure if I would have been able to get to the car while in labor. Instead of the Jeep, Bren would have been born in an apartment haha. My parents have done so much for my little family. I will be forever grateful for them. They are the best parents anyone could ask for!

My favorite sister in the whole world is getting married!! I am very excited and happy for her! She deserve every bit of happiness that Matt and her will have. Plus Bren needs some cousins on the Marshall side of the family ;) I get to be the maid of honor! I have never been in a wedding before. Minus when I was little and a flower girl for my Aunt. I am excited to help make Kelsey's happy day even more happy.

Brendon is doing well. He will be 10 months on the 20th. I cant believe how fast time flies! He is getting more and more personality each day. We got him a big boy car seat! He loves being able to see out the window. And it is so much easier taking him places. I dont have to lug around a big carrier that weighs a ton. He now has four teeth. Two on top and two on the bottom. The temper tantrums begin. He is a pro already, a little scary I must say.
