How Mike and I met:
I couldnt think of a better story of how Mike and I met. Mike was on his mission in Seattle Washington when I got an email on MySpace from some guy that I never even met. The email asked if I would write his brother who is currently serving. He said that he doesnt really have anyone writting him and would like someone to write to. I figured why not?! So I wrote him and put it in the mail not expecting any response back. Boy was I wrong. I shortly got a letter back from him, and we kept writting back and forth for about a year or so. He then told me that he was planning on going to school here in Az and will be living with his older brother (the one who first emailed me). I told him that I would really like to meet him in person and hang out. We exchanged email address and phone numbers. He then sent me an email telling me that he was here in Az. I got pretty excited to have another good friend that I could hang out with. I kept telling him to call me cause I really wanted to hang out with him but he never did! So finally I called him. He made excuse after excuse to not hang out with me. But I had answers for all of those excuses and he finally decided to just go out with me so I would shut up and leave him alone. I decided to take him to an institute class cause after all he was a RM and thought that he would like it. But wouldnt you know the lesson was about marriage. That night driving back we had the best conversation about our views on LDS marriages, we had the exact same views. However Mike was getting the wrong impression of me and thought that I was on the hunt to get married and told me about 20 times that he is not getting married til he graduates from school. All I remember on what I was thinking was- Dude chill out! I dont wanna get married!
He then asked me out again and again. Our third date we decided to try institute again and guess what? Yep! It was about marriage once again. We kinda stopped going after that. It took him FOREVER to kiss me and hold my hand. I would come home every night venting to my mom about it. I tried all the lame tricks in the book. I was just about to give up when he then told me that he loved me. Soon after that he finally kissed me and held my hand. We were married November 14th 2009 in my parents backyard. I couldnt ask for a more perfect day!
