obsessed with baseball. It plays it all day long, and loves to watch the games, both in person and on the TV. We recently got him a Tee-Ball set and a glove, and that is all he wants to play with. He is actually very good at baseball! He can hit the ball when someone throws it to him (not every pitch, but about half of them), he has an amazing arm and really good aim. We are going to put him in Tee Ball next year and I cannot wait! Brendon is finally talking more and saying more then one word. What helped was that he longer has his binkie, thank goodness!!
We were sealed in the Mesa Temple on June 1st. I had been working so hard to get there the past few years. I have always struggled with the church (people of the church, not the gospel/scriptures) and with bishops. I always reference the church as the people of the church, the people who think personal opinions are gospel, and the Gospel which is Jesus Christ teachings and scriptures. Growing up the church never taught me to pray about things that I am taught every Sunday to know if they are true. Four years ago, I was talking with some missionaries and one of the elders told me that I should be doing that for every talk I hear, every chapter I read, and every conference that I listen to. If I feel that Heavenly Father tells me that what was taught is not true, then don't heed to those words. And he said something that I tell myself every Sunday and sometimes daily. No one on earth decides if I have been forgiven or faithful, only Heavenly Father can. And I often got judged by members and bishops for disagreeing with some of the teachings. We finally got a bishop that thinks along those lines. He did not listen to the rumors that my previous bishops would tell each other, and he believed me when I said that some of them were not true and that I have repented have been forgiven. If it were not for that wonderful bishop, we would not been able to have that beautiful experience as a family.

I would like to talk about my "condition". A lot of people have been asking me about it and how I can fix it. I have three bone spurs and one bulging disc. To the left is a healthy disc. To the left is a bone spur. This picture is not the best because it does not show the nerves. But, I have my disc's and vertebrae pushing up against my nerves which causes the numbness and tingling that I often get down my arms and hands. I am currently doing physical therapy and decompression therapy. Sometimes it helps with my pain in my arm, hands and neck and sometimes it makes it so much worse. I am in the process of cutting high fructose corn syrup, which helps with the swelling (since I am allergic to anti-inflammatory medication). According to some doctors, it is no longer if I will get surgery, but when and how long I put off the surgery. The surgery will be a spinal fusion. Other then that, we are taking life one day at a time. Trying to enjoy every moment we can as a family.
