September Update

I am amazed on how much the Lord has blessed us these few past weeks. A few weeks ago I had to take Brendon to the ER. Scariest thing I had to do my whole life! The day before Brendon got diagnosed with and ear infection. The next day he woke up from his morning nap and I noticed he was breathing really hard and fast. It reminded me of what happens to me when I have an asthma attack. So naturally I call my mom freaking out. She pointed out that he was really congested and that he just woke up. So after talking with her I still had this sick to my stomach feeling, I knew something was not right. So I call the Nurse Practitioner that I work with.  She asked me to count his breaths, 65 breaths per minute! She told me that I need to go to the ER ASAP. Once I heard that, I broke down into tears. I had to take my baby to the hospital. Once we got there he started to breath harder and faster. They took his blood pressure and his oxygen saturation and he was fine. By the time they got us in a room (3 minutes later) they hooked him up to one of those machines and tell you his oxygen level and what not. His oxygen saturation dropped to 88! Normal is 92-97. They gave him oxygen, took chest x-rays, took his blood and gave him a breathing treatment. The Dr. came back saying that he had Bronchiolitis and that time his oxygen levels were at 90. The Dr. gave me the option of going home or get him admitted. I got a really strong feeling to admit him. So they called an ambulance to transfer us to the Cardon's Children Hosptial. Good thing I made that decision because his oxygen level dropped again to 88. Seeing my baby on that gurney killed me! I wanted to break down into tears but I knew I had to be strong for Bren. Once we got into the children's hosptial, I felt at peace. Which was weird cause he was not better at the time. They gave him more breathing treatments, sucked all of the mucus in his nose and even stuck tubes up his nose and down his throat to get all of the mucus. And started getting better fast. At that point I REALLY started stressing about the hospital bills. We have a $10,000 deductible. I was actually on planning and paying about 8-10 thousand for all of this. Well, over the weekend we got the ER bill. I don't know why or how, but we only owe them $600. For some odd reason, the insurance paid over $3000. Its amazing how much the Lord is looking out for us.

Mike and I are taking temple prep classes so that we can be sealed in the temple. I am hoping that we will be able to do it in the Gilbert temple since I was raised in Gilbert. And its amazing how Heavenly Father has already blessed us by us taking the steps to do what he wants us to do.

MELALUCA!! I just have to tell you! I got my order yesterday. Its AMAZING! Its cleaning supplies, laundry detergent, shampoo, lotion and so much more that is made without chemicals. Their cleaning supplies actually do not have child proof caps on them! Have not tried everything yet, but what I got was the laundry detergent and some lotion. I got the lotion because Bren has really rough skin that has bumps on them, and I put that lotion on last night. I can already feel a difference! Also, I got the laundry detergent because Brendon has very sensitive skin. With this, my clothes actually feel clean and not just a film of soap on them. Best of all, its cheaper then Tide at the store! Anyways, if you have more questions about the products let me know and I can help you get started!

In three weeks we go to Disneyland!! It will be a whole family vacation and I could not be more excited! I cannot wait to take Brendon on the rides and see all of the Disney characters! He already gets so excited when he sees a picture of Mickey Mouse.

Brendon is getting to be such a big boy! He loves to help me clean. Sometimes even gets mad if I do not let him do it himself. He loves airplanes and big semi trucks. Whenever he sees Ah-ma's house (grandma) he gets very excited! Brendon loves to sing and dance with me in the car, loves being outside, and loves to look and touch flowers. He always wants to be independent, I like it but don't at the same time. My baby is growing up.
